Our technical library is accessible to all L3Harris cadets.

Bournemouth is a large coastal resort town on the south coast of England boasting seven miles of sandy beaches as well as plenty of attractions, activities, entertainment, and adventure.
Bournemouth has a vibrant nightlife with a host of pubs, bars, and clubs in addition to a cinema complex, comedy clubs, and open mic nights.
With beautiful sandy beaches, bay walks, and breath-taking views from the cliff tops, you’re not short of picturesque walks and outdoor activities in Bournemouth.

There are plenty of places to visit in Bournemouth including historic houses, gardens, galleries, castles, theme parks, museums, theatres, aquariums, amusements, indoor play centres, leisure centres, and waterparks. When looking for somewhere to eat and drink there's plenty to choose from, from student bars and beach pubs to beer gardens and gin bars as well as places for classic pub food and more.
How to get here
By train Bournemouth is well served by the National Rail network with three local railway stations - the main Bournemouth station, Pokesdown to the east, and Branksome to the west. There is an excellent train service to and from various locations around Britain, as well as a fast service from London Waterloo in as little as 97 minutes.
By air A choice of scheduled and charter services are available from Bournemouth Airport, and others in the region, to a wide range of short and long-haul destinations. Access to London’s Heathrow and Gatwick Airports is easy and convenient from Bournemouth by train, coach, or by car.
By car Bournemouth is easily accessible by car, from the A338 to the east, and A35 to the west. If you do decide to travel by car to the South Coast’s premier resort, make sure you plan your journey ahead of time and look into visiting the surrounding areas like the New Forest, Stonehenge, and Salisbury.
