Are you a newly qualified pilot with a PPL (Private Pilot Licence) and considering being an airline pilot? If you’re thinking about training towards your CPL (Commercial Pilot Licence), then we have a programme that could help fast track you to the 150 flight hours needed to start the next phase of training.

The L3Harris Hours Building programme has been designed for aspiring pilots with ambitions to become commercial aviators.

To be accepted on our Hours Building course you must:
- Hold a Private Pilot Licence (PPL)

What’s included in the course price?
- Airfield fees
- Use of L3Harris single-engine piston aircraft and fuel
- Check flight with a qualified flight instructor
- Access to Academy facilities, including canteen and study areas
Additional costs to consider:
- Accommodation
- Travel to and from the Academy
- Insurances
- Personal living expenses
- Class 2 Medical
- Flight training equipment such as a headset
Visa requirements
- Training in the UK: Unrestricted right to live, study and work in the UK (e.g. UK national, EU national with settled or pre-settled status)
- Training in the UK, If required: Meet the United Kingdom Visa & Immigration Service requirements to qualify for a Visitor (study for six months or less) or Student visa (study for more than six months)
- Training in the U.S.A: M-1 Student Visa
