L3Harris Integrated ATPL with Wizz Air
L3Harris and Wizz Air have teamed up to offer an exciting opportunity for aspiring pilots to join ‘the best low-cost airline in Europe 2020’ (as voted by AirlineRatings).
This programme is currently closed but there is an opportunity to fly for Wizz Air via our Integrated ATPL course.

Course overview
Wizz Air is central and eastern Europe’s largest low-cost airline, flying over 600 routes from 25 European bases including; London Luton, Gatwick, Liverpool and Edinburgh.
With its main hub in Budapest, Hungary, Wizz Air carries more than 30 million passengers a year – making this a fantastic opportunity to start your pilot career.
The L3Harris Integrated ATPL with Wizz Air is a fully mentored Wizz Air pilot training programme where you complete your ATPL flight training. This is the first step towards an exciting career flying Wizz Air’s A320 aircraft.
The programme is characterised by high-quality flight school training leading to a 'frozen' ATPL with A320 type rating. Successful applicants will receive a conditional offer of employment with Wizz Air before training begins.

Entry criteria
To apply for this ATPL course, you must meet the following requirements:
Age |
Aged between 18 and 55.
Minimum height 5ft. 2 in. (157 cm), maximum height 6ft. 3 in. (191cm). Applicants who fall outside of this may still apply but will need to undergo an ergonomic assessment in an aircraft and A320 simulator. |
Education and English language |
You must have achieved the following academic achievements (or equivalent).
CEE
A High School Degree (normally achieved at age 18) with a good standard in Mathematics, Science and English language – or equivalent, supported by certificate evidence.
United Kingdom
5 GCSEs at grade C or above - including Mathematics, Science and English language – or equivalent, supported by certificate evidence.
Be fluent in English (verbal and written). |
Medical |
Ability to obtain and maintain an EASA Class 1 Aviation Medical Certificate prior to enrolment and pass the Wizz Air Health Services medical examination (prior to employment). |
Background and selection |
Ability to produce a Criminal Record Check (CRC) Basic Disclosure Certificate (or local equivalent) and pass Wizz Air referencing checks.

Current PPL(A) holders are eligible to apply. |

1. Selection day
If successful, you will be invited to attend an initial selection day.

2. Interview
Shortlisted applicants for the Integrated ATPL course may need to attend a second selection day with a final interview in Budapest.
