Airline Transport Pilot Certification Training Program (ATP CTP)
The Airline Transport Pilot Certification Training Program (ATP CTP) program is the starting point for obtaining your FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) License and bridge the transition from commercial pilot certification to ATP certification, ready for a career with the regional and international airlines.
The ATP CTP consists of 40 hours total training, 30 hours of ground school learning and 10 hours of simulator learning in both Fixed Training Devices (FTD) and Full Flight Simulators (FFS). The program footprint includes:
- Training in navigation
- Automation
- Runway safety
- High altitude operations
- Low energy states
- Upset Prevention Recovery Training (UPRT)
After completion of your ATP CTP, you can choose to take your tests with us at L3Harris Flight Academy or at a location elsewhere in the USA.
An ATP CTP certificate does not have an expiration date, however, ATP Knowledge Test results are valid for five years from the date the test was taken.
Graduates of our PPP, APT and CPT programs are eligible for a discount when they enroll on our ATP CTP.
