Over 100 L3Harris Airline Academy Graduates With Employment Opportunities Since January 2022

The past two years have been tough for everyone in the aviation industry, but signs of recovery and confidence continue to show with the UK government removing all restrictions from everyday life and arrivals into the country.
In November we reported a number of our graduates had found employment opportunities in the latter months of 2021, and we’re delighted to say this trend has continued into the first quarter of 2022.
At the time of writing (mid-March 2022), thanks to the hard work of our Graduate Placement team and our strong airline relationships we can announce that more than 100 of our UK and European graduates have been offered employment opportunities since January 1st 2022 - with 50+ joining EasyJet and nearly 30 who have started their Type Rating with Ryanair.

So, what does this tell us?
- The recovery is continuing and fuelling industry confidence and demand. You only have to look out of classroom windows at our London Training Centre, near London Gatwick Airport, to see a clear increase in aircraft traffic.
- Starting training now could be the right time. Our Integrated ATPL course takes approximately 70 weeks to complete, meaning someone starting their training in April 2022 could be ready to begin their pilot career by the end of 2023/start of 2024. IATA predicts that overall traveller numbers will be at 94% of 2019 levels in 2023, and 103% the following year!
