Am I guaranteed a job at the end of my pilot training?
Graduates of our Elite: CFI/CFII program are guaranteed a job interview to become a Flight Instructor with L3Harris. Whilst acting as a CFI with us, you can build up the 1,500 hours required to qualify for a First Officer with a regional airline.
What’s more, we have affiliations with USA airlines that frequently visit our L3Harris Flight Academy to provide advice and support for cadets as well as regularly conduct interviews to create a seamless transition from CFI to First Officer.
What qualifications do I need to commence my pilot training?
To enroll in the Edge (Commercial Pilot) program you must meet the following requirements:
- At least 16 years old in order to enroll on to Private Pilot Certificate course
- Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
- A high school graduate or GED completer
- Able to obtain an FAA medical certificate
How much does pilot training cost and how can I fund my pilot training?
The cost of pilot training varies depending on the course you’re looking to undertake.
Our Edge: Commercial Pilot Certificate program costs $84,025.
Most students pay for the primary portion of their training through self-pay, private educational loans, or a combination of both.
